Brilliant Scottish singer-songwriter Gary Stewart returns to Ripon by popular demand - this time with his full band!
Gary did a solo support slot to ex-The La's and Cast legend John Power when he played Ripon back in April and was rapturously received.
Gary is from Perth, Scotland, but currently resides in Leeds, where he has been carving a name for himself for the past two years with his Paul Simon/Smiths-influenced songs.
He is just an the verge of making a major breakthrough in the music industry. In fact, Tom Robinson has been playing his latest single on his BBC Radio 6 show this week!
Described by Music Scene magazine as "Like Cat Stevens on Acid", he has already supported singer/songwriters such as Laura Marling, James Yorkston, David Kitt, Nizlopi, Jacob Golden and Emma Pollock this year and has just finished touring Ireland and Scotland with his new EP "Tables,Trees and Tripods".
