DMB Live Music Promotions brings quality international and national and up-and-coming UK acts to play in selected venues in Ripon.

The venture kicked off in December 2007 with a stunning acoustic performance by Swedish sensation Josefina Sanner at David Stead Gallery.

This was followed in January 2008 by an appearance by fast-rising US star and Q Magazine 'Next Big Thing' Jacob Golden at Great Northern Wine's new venue 'The Warehouse'. Jacob went on to appear on Jools Holland's famous 'Later' show barely a fortnight later!

Since then, Ripon nightclub The Matrix has been the host of three cracking gigs, featuring the likes of up-and-coming Wakefield indie band Last Gang, exciting emerging Leeds artist Micky P Kerr, the soon-to-be-famous Red Light Company and Scottish star Colin MacIntyre. In the meantime, former La's bassist and Cast frontman John Power played a scintillating set at The Warehouse at Great Northern Wine. This was followed by a great double bill, featuring US artists Kim Richey and David Berkeley at another new venue - Hugh Ripley Hall.
