DMB Live Music Promotions brings quality international and national and up-and-coming UK acts to play in selected venues in Ripon.

The venture kicked off in December 2007 with a stunning acoustic performance by Swedish sensation Josefina Sanner at David Stead Gallery.

This was followed in January 2008 by an appearance by fast-rising US star and Q Magazine 'Next Big Thing' Jacob Golden at Great Northern Wine's new venue 'The Warehouse'. Jacob went on to appear on Jools Holland's famous 'Later' show barely a fortnight later!

Ripon nightclub The Matrix was the next venue to host a DMB promotion on 1 March when up-and-coming Wakefield indie band Last Gang rocked the city. This was followed by a bill starring exciting Leeds artist Micky P Kerr at the same location. Then former La's bassist and Cast frontman John Power played a scintillating set at The Warehouse. Next up is a brilliant Bank Holiday Monday mini-festival starring Scottish star Colin MacIntyre (formerly known as Mull Historical Society).
